Kathryn Harvey, Head, Archival and Special Collections, University of Guelph, has been the Head of Archival and Special Collections at the University of Guelph since 2009 and recently completed a term as President of the Association of Canadian Archivists (2015-2016). She holds a PhD in English from the University of Alberta (1995) and an MLIS from Dalhousie University (2005). She has taught a wide variety of courses from English to event planning to Archives and the Digital Humanities at the University of Alberta, Mount Saint Vincent University, Dalhousie University, and the University of Guelph. Publication credits include co-editorship of the Canadian Theatre Review special issue on Archives (2013) and of the Johnson Family Treasury (Rock’s Mills P, 2015). Her most recent research investigates the development of archival management systems and digital preservation.
